Ms. Tesch

Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Rosanne Tesch.  I am excited to be here teaching at Park Elementary in room #101.
I chose to teach kindergarten because of the simple joys of watching young children learn.  Seeing the pride in your child’s eyes as they develop friendships, teaching them about the power of the written word, or the magic in their imagination.  These are the joys I hope to share with your child.
I grew up on a farm in southwestern Minnesota and attended school in the Fulda School District.  I graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with a degree in early childhood, kindergarten, and elementary education.  I have lived near Henderson for the past 21 years with my husband and 2 children ages 18 and 16.
I have worked for the LeSueur-Henderson School District for the past 16 years.  These past 10 years I have taught Kindergarten at Hilltop Elementary.  I have also taught kindergarten at Park Elementary in LeSueur and also worked in the Early Childhood Family Education and Early Childhood Special Education programs.  Prior to teaching kindergarten, I taught third and fourth grade in Courtland, MN and East Moline, IL.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child.  This year will be full of fun and exciting new adventures.  Kindergarten is a big transition for families and I hope to help make it as smooth as possible for you and your child.  Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or concerns you may have.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year in kindergarten.

Sincerely,
