LSH Elementary Awards Day!
Mr. Kyrin's class had an activity with high schoolers from Ms. Risacher's class where we made homemade dog treats out of canned pumpkin, oatmeal, and applesauce!
Students enjoyed a fun day in art getting to play and draw with shaving cream...and as an added bonus it cleans the tables like new again!
Mass Media 7 partnered with Mr. Kyrin’s 3rd grade class for activities over the last couple of weeks. 7th graders completed an ad campaign to promote positive online behavior and presented the campaigns to their 3rd grade buddies.
Ms. Donahue's class made "Thundercake" today in the spirit of the thunderstorms rolling in! Who knew baking a cake a day could make the stormy weather go away! ⛈️🌞

4th graders spent the day experiencing art. We visited the MIA, drove by the X games Mural by Reggie LeFlore, ended at the Walker Sculpture Garden.

4th grade students spent the day seeing art in person and enjoyed the special exhibition, Giants, at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

LSH Elementary Spring Concert - Tuesday May 13
A message from the Le Sueur County Family Services Collaborative: Tuesday, May 6 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Le Sueur Henderson Elementary School (use Kids Club Doors) for an evening of conversation and brainstorming about solutions to build resilience in our community. This event is free and open to the public, we would love to see parents, grandparents, as well as community members join us to share input to guide a proposal for developing a Family Resource Center/Network in our area. This concept would design a community or school-based hub or network of support that connects families with local resources, support, or programs to help them thrive. Free subway boxed lunches will be served from 5:30-6:00, with the conversation for adults beginning at 6:00. The event features door prizes, self-care stations, and free childcare, kids will enjoy watching Inside Out 2 in the Kids Club area. Youth attending the event can engage in vision board making and conversation about their interests and ideas for building resilience too. Hope to see you there!
