This week we celebrate American Education Week. First established December 4-10, 1921 as a response to the nation's illiteracy rate, this is a week to present the achievements and needs of public schools. Each day we will be recognizing key players in the education of our children.

Several students were selected for the Stars of Honor Program which recognizes students who display academic, social, emotional and behavioral excellence in school. The students and their families received tickets to the Gopher Football game VS Illinois this past Saturday.

In order to prepare for Chromebooks in the 3rd Grade, 2nd Graders are learning typing skills. Second Graders enjoy the typing activities and are very excited about learning this new skill. #LSHGiants
