Congratulations to Park Elementary October Students of the Month!

See you at the book fair Thursday, November 9 and 16!

Several students were selected for the Stars of Honor Program which recognizes students who display academic, social, emotional and behavioral excellence in school. The students and their families received tickets to the Gopher Football game VS Illinois this past Saturday.
Look who students saw at the game....Mr. Kern. The weather was great and everyone had a great time. #GiantPride

Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.

This time our Preschool friends were able to visit the library media center with the 3rd Graders. Who enjoyed it more? ❤️📚 #LSHGiants

1st Graders began learning how to log into a computer and practicing mouse skills. These skills will also help them gain more independence and fine motor skills in and out of the classroom.

Our Jr. Librarians are learning to sort and reshelve books in the library media center.

Ms. Nancy shared her book “Tilly Turtle’s Decision.” Students learned the creative process of how authors and artists work together to create a book and even puppets.

Ms. Nancy is back sharing stories from around the world with students at Le Sueur Henderson Elementary. We LOVE stories and puppets and are beginning to become storytellers ourselves! #GiantPride
