2nd Graders worked today on cut paper self-portraits. They will be adding their whole bodies to create life-sized self-portraits. We read the book What a Family by Rachel Isadora and talked about the things we inherit from our family about how we look. They looked carefully in the mirror to match shapes and colors. #GiantPride

5th Graders working on joyful monochromatic collage self-portraits. Students are exploring ways to express an emotion with color. #LSHGiants

LSH Elementary is continuing the HIlltop tradition of selling holiday greens. Connect with a K-5 student or call Park Elementary to place an order! The proceeds go toward our Studies Weekly subscription.

Child development is more than just academics and classroom work. In partnership with MSU, we are offering an opportunity for your child to "Move It Move It" incorporating balance, hand-eye coordination, core development, and more!

This year, preschool joined 3rd graders in the library media center for reading buddies. Who loved it more, the little buddies or the big buddies? We look forward to continuing this tradition next year. #LSHGiants

Kindergarten learned to code robots and 1st and 2nd grades had additional coding challenges with the BeeBots. We love robots in the Library Media Center! #GiantPride

Before coding robots, we learn how to code on computers. #LSHPride

Kindergarten loves books,
and there’s no better place to share a book than in Mrs. Ranft’s cozy chair! #LSHPride

Ms. Nancy was able to share stories with Park students one more time this week. We are looking forward to seeing her again next year! Thank you, Nancy, for all of your time and talent this year! #GiantPride

Ms. Martin's class had been writing their pen pals back and forth all year long and finally got to meet them on Google Meet yesterday! Each student got to know a new friend from New Prague who was also in 2nd Grade. They had so much fun putting a face to the name! They ended with a rock paper scissors tournament against them. #LSHPride
