Thank you to all Park Elementary students and families for making this year's Student Council Stuff-a-Truck a GIANT SUCCESS! 1,335.3 lbs of food items were collected this year! These donations will be split between the LeSueur and Sibley County food shelves. The two K-2 classrooms with the most donations were: Mrs. Tesch's Kindergarten class with a total of 144.5 lbs and Ms. Donahue's First Grade class with a total of 78.2 lbs. The two 3-5 classrooms with the most donations were: Mrs. Gupton's Third Grade class with a total of 152.4 lbs and Ms. Glass's Fifth Grade class with a total of 257 lbs! Thank you to everyone for your generosity!

4th and 5th Graders have really become good storytellers! They have learned to tell the stories by acting out the dialogue with puppets. We ♥️ a good folktale!

There were some Wild Things telling stories in the library media center! Ms. Nancy told us a funny Turkish folktale about a rooster who outsmarted a sultan and 2nd Graders retold the story of Henny Penny. Our Foxy Loxy was so convincing and sly! 🦊🐓🐔
